Students
There are approx. 70 students enrolled in the U of T Jazz program, earning Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degrees in jazz performance. They range in age from 17-50. The common thread is a love of jazz and a desire to learn, improve, and innovate. The U of T Jazz students represent some the best and brightest young minds on the musical horizon.
The links below will give you insight into who the U of T students are, what they are listening to, and advice they offer for prospective students. A number of students have volunteered to act as ‘jazz ambassadors’, answering questions from prospective students. When you send a question, any of them will have the opportunity to reply. Nobody will give you the straight scoop on the program better than the students currently enrolled!
