Directions to U of T Jazz
The U of T Faculty of Music is located in the Edward Johnson Building, on University Ave, just south of Bloor St. The MUSEUM subway stop exits onto the west side of University Ave, steps from our door. The EJ building is set back from University Ave, behind the Planetarium. Walk down the pathway next to the Planetarium; you’ll see the building. On the map below, the EJ building is located exactly where you see the words ‘Museum Subway Stop’.
Unloading is possible in front of the building, but parking is off site. There is a Green P municipal parking lot north of Bloor, west of University.
Most concerts take place in Walter Hall, and clinics take place in Boyd Neel room. Both are on the basement level, accessible via the elevator in the lobby, or the stairs to your left after you pass the first set of glass doors into the building. Taking the stairs to the bottom deposits you directly in front of Boyd Neel. The elevator opens facing Walter Hall. To find Boyd Neel, turn left out of the elevator, and then left down the hallway to the room. Geiger Torel is the mirror image of Boyd Neel, on the west side of the building, basement level.
The year-end concert takes place in MacMillan Theatre. The entrance to the theatre is from the main floor lobby.
ARBOR ROOM / HART HOUSE
Located on campus, the Arbor Room is in the basement of Hart House. The closest Subway Stop is Museum. Walk south from the Museum stop on the west side of Unversity Ave, cross Hoskin Ave and continue south on Queen’s Park Circle about 30m. Take the pathway leading to the right into the campus. Go down the steps and you are right in front of Hart House. The accessible entrance is located on the west side of the building south of Hoskin Ave.

Osgoode Subway Station – exit to street level: Queen Street – North Side – Westbound. At street level, walk west 2 blocks to St. Patrick.
