Downing/Lewis/Occhipinti Release Debut CD

BRISTLES_2245Bristles is a the debut CD from a trio comprised of U of T Jazz faculty: Andrew Downing (bass), Jim Lewis (trumpet) David Occhipinti (guitar). The music consists of twelve songs: six jazz standards and six collaborative improvisations dedicated to painters such as Emily Carr and Cy Twombly. David Occhipinti produced and mixed the CD, which is being released on his Occdav Music label (OM007).
